About the ToT
After six successful ToTs conducted between July 2023 and March 2025, EnAble India is organizing this ToT in response to the growing demand for skilled low vision trainers across India. This training will enable participants to:
- Understand different types of low vision and their functional impact.
- Learn specialized teaching methodologies for low vision digital literacy.
- Conduct low vision assessments and plan customized training.
- Use assistive technologies, accessibility settings, and teaching aids effectively.
- Integrate practical strategies to make learning inclusive and result-oriented.
Key Training Details
- Duration: 8 days (24th November – 2nd December 2025)
- Timings: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Venue: MPWAB, Indore – Madhya Pradesh
- Master Trainer: Adil Mir
- Batch Size: 12 – 15 participants
Who Can Apply
This ToT is open to:
- Trainers and educators currently working with persons with low vision (in NGOs, schools, or institutions).
- Volunteers or freelancers teaching computers to individuals with visual impairment.
- Individuals above the age of 21 with a passion for inclusive education and accessibility.
Post-Training Expectation
Participants are expected to:
- Conduct assigned digital literacy and awareness program for persons with low vision within one month of ToT completion and share the candiates details with us.
- Implement digital literacy training modules in their respective regions.
- Participate in monthly Trainer Meets to share progress and learnings.
